Pruning and overhead limb work where saw weight decides how long you last, not how fast you cut.

Brushless on a single 20V pack is an unusual combination, and it is the most interesting saw Worx makes in the value tier. 33 ft/s of chain speed from one battery beats the two-pack 40V WG384's 26, which inverts what the voltage labels imply, and it does it at 8.6 lb instead of 10.4. The limit is the bar: 12 inches, narrow .043 chain, one 4.0Ah pack. That is a limbing-and-small-log saw, not a bucking saw, and it will not pull through much over eight inches without slowing hard. If you own Power Share packs and want the lightest saw that still cuts seriously, this is the one to compare against B+D's heavier 40V 12-incher, which it beats on every published figure except price.
Best for: Power Share owners who want one light brushless saw for limbs and small logs and will not buy a two-battery tool.
Manufacturer figures except the engine class and single-pass cut, which are derived here. What each spec means
