6.2 lb is the whole argument. Only Greenworks' 10-inch 24V saw weighs less with a conventional rear handle, and that is what the WG322 is for — one-handed-adjacent overhead limbing, storm debris, pruning work that a 10 lb saw turns into a chore. Chain speed is a modest 12.5 ft/s and the chain is a narrow .043-gauge 40-link loop, so it cuts small wood briskly and anything over about six inches slowly. The real cost is energy: one 2.0Ah pack and a five-hour charger, which is the slowest charge time of any kit in this group, so the saw's useful session is short and the recovery is an afternoon. A second pack is not optional. The .9 tool-only version exists for owners already on Power Share.
Best for: Pruning and overhead limb work where saw weight decides how long you last, not how fast you cut.
