Light pruning and storm debris on a budget, for someone who wants a bigger battery rather than a lighter saw.
Homeowner
Ninety dollars, four and a half pounds, and thirty cuts before the pack is flat — the 24V 10-inch is barely a chainsaw and is honest about it. What it actually replaces is a bow saw and a pair of loppers: fence-line brush, fallen limbs, the branch leaning on the shed roof. The 24V pack charges over USB-C, which sounds gimmicky until you realise it means the same wall brick that charges a laptop refills it, and the 200-plus-tool 24V range is the widest Greenworks runs. Anything past about six inches of green hardwood is beyond it, the 60-minute recharge on a 2.0Ah pack is slow relative to how fast you drain it, and the plastic body makes no pretence otherwise. For the job it is actually bought for, nothing cheaper does it better.
Best for: Anyone who needs a powered pruning saw for brush and fallen limbs and will never fell a tree with it.
