Pros and serious landowners doing high-volume brushing, small-tree felling, and storm work who value low weight over big-wood power.
Professional
The top of Husqvarna's battery range and the first of its cordless saws aimed squarely at 50cc gas work: 4.3 hp at the output shaft, 79 ft/s chain speed, a 20-inch maximum bar, and full-size .325/.050 chain instead of the narrow .043 the smaller battery saws use. That chain choice is the tell — it is specified for real wood rather than brushing. The 8.82 lb bare tool is heavier than anything else in the battery lineup and roughly 2 lb over the 540i XP, which is the cost of the extra output. Launched alongside the fuel-injected 564 XP as Husqvarna's pro flagship pair. The number that decides it is $1,310 for the kit with a 9Ah 40-B330X and charger, against roughly $750 for the gas 550 XP Mark II: you are paying a $560 premium for no fuel, no fumes and far less noise, and a first-generation design with no field record yet.
Best for: Professional crews replacing a 50cc gas saw with battery for noise-restricted or indoor-adjacent work and willing to pay the premium.
