This is the top of everything Greenworks builds: 3.4 kW, a 20-inch bar on .325 pitch, 82 ft/s of chain speed, and a 60cc-gas equivalence claim that the spec sheet actually supports rather than merely asserts. The move to .325 chain matters more than the extra two inches of bar — it is the pitch real firewood saws use, it cuts faster per tooth than the 3/8 low-profile chain on the smaller Greenworks saws, and it means a sharpening kit from any dealer fits. The costs are proportional: 12.3 lb bare makes it the heaviest powerhead Greenworks sells, a 4.0Ah pack drains in roughly 230 cuts of 4x4, and $500 is EGO and Milwaukee money rather than Greenworks money. Stock has been intermittent on Greenworks' own store, so check before committing.

Best for: Owners cutting genuine firewood on battery who need .325 chain and a 20-inch bar rather than a homeowner saw with a long bar bolted on.

Manufacturer figures except the engine class and single-pass cut, which are derived here. What each spec means

  • 3.4 kW, 82 ft/s chain speed
  • Real .325 pitch chain
  • 20-in bar, 60cc-class claim

Where it is strong

  • 3.4 kW and 82 ft/s are the highest figures Greenworks publishes for any chainsaw
  • .325"/.050 chain cuts faster and sharpens like a dealer saw, unlike the low-profile chain on the smaller models
  • 200 ml oil reservoir keeps up with a 20-inch bar
  • 4-year tool and battery warranty at a price where most brands give two
  • Claimed 230 cuts per charge despite the bar length

Where it falls short

  • 12.3 lb before the battery — the heaviest powerhead Greenworks sells, and the pack is still to come
  • $500 puts it against EGO and Milwaukee saws with deeper dealer and service networks
  • Stock has been intermittent on the maker's own store
  • One 4.0Ah pack is thin for a saw this size; a spare is effectively mandatory
  • 80V batteries are expensive bought separately

Written from the spec sheet and the maker's documentation; owner reports for this model were too thin to summarize.
