Two 20V packs in series is how Worx reaches 40V, and it is the defining fact about this saw. There is no 40V battery to buy: every pack is a 20V Power Share cell that also runs the trimmer and the drill, and the saw simply eats two of them at once. That is genuinely efficient if you own Worx tools and genuinely limiting if you do not, because the kit's two 2.0Ah packs amount to a small energy budget for a 14-inch bar. Chain speed jumps to 26 ft/s, double the 20V saw, and the bar and chain are off-the-shelf Oregon parts — 90PX052X and 144MLEA041 — which is unusually transparent for a value brand. The 5-year warranty is the longest in this group. Recharge is one hour, a quarter of what the 20V kit takes.

Best for: Worx Power Share owners who want a 14-inch saw without buying into a second battery system.

Manufacturer figures except the engine class and single-pass cut, which are derived here. What each spec means

  • Runs on two 20V Power Share packs
  • 5-year warranty
  • Oregon 90PX chain and bar

Where it is strong

  • Uses the same 20V packs as the rest of the Power Share line — no 40V-only battery to own
  • 5-year warranty, the longest of any saw in this group
  • Bar and chain are standard Oregon parts, named on the spec sheet
  • 26 ft/s chain speed is double the 20V 10-inch saw's
  • One-hour recharge on the included dual-port charger

Where it falls short

  • Two 2.0Ah packs is a thin energy budget for a 14-inch bar — larger packs are a separate purchase
  • Needs both batteries present and balanced; one weak pack cripples the saw
  • 10.4 lb listed is not light for 14 inches of bar
  • .043-gauge narrow-kerf chain limits it in hardwood
  • Promotional pricing swings roughly $240 to $300

Written from the spec sheet and the maker's documentation; owner reports for this model were too thin to summarize.
